Is there a fanfic or comic somwhere to go along with this character?

That's very cool. I really like the back view best, though I'm not sure why. Maybe it's because you don't often see just a character's back.
Her hair is very nice too and those blue eyes are very bright and piercing.

Nice design :) I like how you have her holding her hair out of the way for the back shot ;) Great looking anatomy too <3

I'm just commenting on this one amongst many other to say but one thing;

DUCKY!

This is awesome. It's pretty rare to see duck anthros, yet those are the best! The way you draw the beak is just flawless. I can see from this that you've got a pretty good grasp of anatomy, which makes it so much more pleasing; I always appreciate seeing a female character that doesn't have an enormous rack, for a change! *laughs*

Now, Advanced Critique Encouraged, huh? I'll make an effort and give you some, then! :)

While your shading itself is great (using other colors than a darker shade of the base? Thank you! So many colorists neglect that. Shows you are skilled), the borders of it are a bit shaky, making the brush stroke visible. Have you ever tried first outlining the shading zones with the pen toll, and then coloring the inside? That does wonders for smooth lines. Otherwise, you could give the Lasso or Polygonal Lasso tool a try, but those tend to have bothersome antialiasing, so unless you work with a huge canvas and then shrink the finished product, it tends to look rather poor.

But yeah, experimenting with these techniques might provide you some entertainment! :)

Thank you :)

I dunno, the pen tool and I have never gotten along. I think that, mostly, I'll have to consider whether or not perfect lines are a priority next time I do something like this - because I honestly don't know right now.

I do appriciate that comments, though, I get so many 'Oh that's nice' remarks that a good critique is wonderful every once and a while.

Thank you, again.

OMG! Thank you so much for filling her out properly. It is nice to see a female anthro that is not modled after barbie.
