I'm moving back down to Boulder, and I'll be living in a townhouse with 1-2 other people on the north end of town. One roommate, Steven, is a BFA Art History/Printmaking from SMU, and works about 60 hours a week as something like a consultant and a sushi chef on the new mall. The other room mate is TBD. He's wanting to move in a woman who's 27, done two tours of duty, and starting law school at CU in th fall. Which is great and all, except she has a 90lb dog. In a tiny townhouse, with no backyard, and it'll be alone most of the time - with my birds no less. I'm afraid I'm going to fight that one.
I'm working in town until the room is ready in July (well, actually, I suppose I'm working after that, too). With all my stuff still in Fort Collins, I'm basically sleeping in my old room at my parent's house, with my laundry and my computer - note I didn't say my desk. I spend the end of each night pretty much lying on the floor with the keyboard nearby. I'm working 40 hours a week, and the title is officially graphic designer, but I feel more like an overpaid secretary. New Era still wants desperately to keep me, so I may be doing additional work for them on their games over weekends.
Weekends will probably also be the realm of commissions and personal work, as this isn't really a job where I can sit and wait for the next task to be handed to me (the ONE benefit of working for Qwest was a great deal of the day was wasted on YahooGames). I'm more or less in charge of delegating things to myself, and right now I have more or less three design projects that I'm working on simultaneously.
I guess I more or less have a boyfriend. 'More or less' is this sort of half-hearted realism over the fact it's a long distance relationship (with alottalotta WoW involved -> [link] ). Ok, so after two years of guilds asking and us denying everything, yes, we're a pair. I like how everyone's response has been more or less... "Duh". Right now we're planning to meet up over Thanksgiving. We'll be lining him with bear-attack gear to protect him from my mother.
Apparently screaming at the raid over vent on a consistent basis to shut the fuck up and press their buttons in the right order because I get enough tedious bullshit at work without having to come home to a bunch of retards has put me in line for an officer position, directly from 'trial member'. Bwahaha. ALL THE LOOT IS MINE. COME SEE THE VIOLENCE AND CORRUPTION INHERIT IN THE SYSTEM.

I made you suffer and that doesn't feel right. I thought my knife would snuff you out like a light. How rude of me! A quick beheading will end your fright!

Great to hear you found a place, too, and that things are lookin' up for you
I wish my guild would promote me. I signed up two weeks in advance, for a raid the other night, and got told "oh, you signed up too late", when everyone else signed up after I did. They're just "core raiders" and I'm not, and I told my GM that if he wanted me to run with them later, then he'd stop being a prick, elsewise I'd gladly find another guild who appreciated a well-geared shadow priest..lol. Congrats on the promotion, btw
